Coming soon: Typemachines

Communication design is changing at a rapid pace, everything is becoming even faster, more digital and above all more modular. Design systems have long since entered everyday life and bless the job of the designer with many new possibilities. At the same time, this New World brings a large piece of complexity back into play. This ever closer relationship between man and machine can no longer be avoided by any creative person. Curse or blessing? As Creative Coders we are looking for our own individual answers.

With my course I want to open an experimental learning space for design. This is about more than just animation: software-driven design can be interactive and integrate any kind of data input. In the protected space of a free project we give up some of the control and let the computer participate in the design.

In the last few years I have been working intensively with generative typography and I find it enormously exciting to see what possibilities code offers on a creative and design level. I am now sharing this know how in this compact course: Typemachines will build on the first course “Creative Coding Essentials” and will cover all important topics around type in processing.

I look forward to sharing this project with you soon!

I still have some work to do.

Stay tuned!

Tim
