Crazy Cool Developers

It all started out with a popular facebook-group called Crazy Cool Websites, showcasing the most radical, odd, viral and surprising sites and apps on the www. The community was founded by Michael Taschinski, Armin Unruh and Sebastian Zimmerhackl and gained more than 10.000 members in just a few years.

I was extremely interested how these websites were built both from a conceptual and a technical perspective. That’s why i’ve founded the “Crazy Cool Developers” in 2015, another facebook-group intended to be the complementary “makerspace” of “Crazy Cool Websites”. Today the group is a full-grown community with more than 1600 members.

Berlin-based developer and entrepreneur Armin Unruh gives deep insights into his workflow behind his famous web-projects like the “Lay Theme” or the website for Meiré und Meiré.

In 2018 we took the project a step further and created www.crazycooldevelopers.com to share interviews with exciting people from the scene. Furthermore we launch themed challenges and meetups at a regular pace to amplify the community-activities, both online and offline.
