Negativer Raum

ZKM Karlsruhe, one of the most important museums for contemporary art in the world contacted me to discuss and develop a generative visual identity for “Negativer Raum”, an exhibition about modern sculpture.

I’ve proposed a custom design-software, that enables anyone to create a virtual, generative, three-dimensional sculpture.

For the next steps i’ve been planning to involve more complex data into to visual system: Visitor-frequency, press-feedback, the date and motion-capture-data.

“Negativer Raum” shows more than 200 works by some of the most renowned artists: Hans Arp, Max Bill, Refik Anadol, Marcel Duchamp, Olafur Eliasson, Andy Warhol and Erwin Wurm.

The exhibition can be visited from April 6th until August 11th 2019.

For the development of the prototype i’ve utilized TouchOSC, a simple controller-application for any mobile device. The user-interface is customizable and works on any screen-size.
