Generative Sculptures
When I was still using tumblr.com as a digital sketchbook around 2015, there was one visual that was shared particularly often. It showed a woman’s head, made of particles, rotating 360 degrees around its own axis. I continued to experiment with this system in the following years, and from 2020 it was even used in campaigns for IBM and a Netflix film. What’s exciting about this system is that it adds another dimension to any kind of image material, which opens up many visual possibilities. In this course I explain the system from ground up.
