If you look around the branding and design scene on the internet and social media, you’re most likely to come across Rotterdam-based Studio Dumbar. The friendly agency works according to the motto “Static is not an option” for public institutions, cultural clients and companies. One of the secret ingredients of the studio is Sander Sturing, who has made a name for himself far beyond the studio with his enormous creative coding skills.

In his presentation, he talks about his time at the art academy, his first contact with the programming language Processing, his first commercial jobs and how he now works in an interdisciplinary team on a wide range of highly exciting projects.
