New course out now: Grid Systems
After a long period of work, about a dozen discarded lessons, and many discussions with a wide variety of people, I finally got Grid Systems into a finished state. The course is now available here!
Looking at the course now I realize that once again it has all become much simpler than originally thought. As a designer, I realize more and more what power lies in identifying and leaving out the obsolete, and how important clarity actually is, especially when dealing with such complex topics as software devlopment.
I would like to expressly thank Martin Lorenz, who has become a close partner and friend. The regular exchange with him has helped me to find the right direction and above all to link his teaching with mine. Grid Systems is terminologically adapted to Martin’s theory teaching and can be used complementary to his courses. If you haven’t already, be sure to check out his book Flexible Visual Systems, which I believe bridges the gap between graphic design and creative coding and can bring designers and creative technologists closer together.
I sincerely hope this course helps you on your personal learning path! As always, I’m super grateful for your feedback, write me here, on Discord, or by mail.
Tim
